13 DAYS GREAT MIGRATION AND ZANZIBAR BEACH SAFARI

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. This day is for you to rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. You will spend the day on a game drive, enjoying the unique landscape and diverse wildlife. In the evening, you will head to your lodge near the park.

Today you will have a final game drive in Tarangire before a transfer to a local airstrip for a domestic flight to the Kogatende airstrip in the northern Serengeti. This flight saves you a long day of driving and gets you straight to the heart of the Great Migration. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and have a game drive as you make your way to your camp.

These three days are dedicated to witnessing the Great Migration and the famous Mara River crossing. Your expert guide will take you on morning and afternoon game drives, following the herds as they gather on the riverbanks. You'll have the chance to witness the dramatic and chaotic spectacle of wildebeest and zebra plunging into the crocodile-infested waters. Staying for three full days maximizes your chances of seeing this spectacular event.

After a final morning game drive in the northern Serengeti, you will fly back to Arusha. From there, your guide will drive you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the late afternoon.

Today, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater floor is home to a high density of wildlife, including all of the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). You will spend the entire day on a game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

After a final morning game drive or an optional cultural visit, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), a representative will meet you and transfer you to your chosen beach resort. The rest of the day is yours to relax on the beach or by the pool.

These three days are for you to enjoy the beautiful island of Zanzibar. You can relax on the pristine white-sand beaches, go for a swim in the turquoise waters, or take part in various activities. Optional excursions include a tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a visit to a spice farm, or a "Safari Blue" tour to nearby sandbanks for snorkeling and swimming. You can also indulge in water sports like snorkeling, diving, or a sunset dhow cruise.

After a final breakfast at your resort, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight home, filled with memories of an incredible African adventure that combined the thrill of a safari with the tranquility of a beach holiday.
